Care & Feeding

Like all lorikeets, Varied Lorikeets require a specialised lorikeet diet rather than a standard seed-based parrot diet. A quality wet or dry lorikeet food should form the basis of their diet, complemented with suitable fresh fruits and other appropriate foods.

They also require a spacious cage, toys, climbing opportunities and plenty of daily interaction and enrichment to keep them happy and stimulated.
